A variant is the unique sequence of activities for a case. On this CSV the two paths split after Payment.
Check your result. Variants should list two rows: 24 cases through 5A. Order accepted by pizzeria, and 12 cases through 5B. Pickup confirmed.
The panel does not use CSV labels such as “Delivery after payment”. The compact label can look the same for both paths (Open app → Choose pizza → … → Order received). Hover or Show more until you see 5A versus 5B. Distinguish the rows by case count (24 vs 12) and by duration on the row.
Efficient on a row is a heuristic path score, not “best for the customer”. Frequency and speed are different questions.
Use Show only these cases on the 12-case path. The 5A node should disappear. Show all variants brings both paths back. That filter is not Data Filter (Data Filter is a date range). All events in this file fall on one calendar day, so a date filter would keep all 36 cases.
